What are the specs on an F1 motor.
BTW, I would assume youd be coming out of pocket near 100k for one.

Hell, if you're going to be in the 100k range may as well get an NSX and stick it in the back of that. Good luck getting gas for it, maintaining it, passing emissions with it, starting it, etc. I'd buy a ticket to where ever you are and ride shotty though.;)

Very true. Ive seen an NSX motor in a CIvic before so it can be done. I would also bet it wouldnt be cheap.

The engines run about 250K. The price of a cup car. It would be bad but it would be to much power. F1 cars have so much downforce that they could stick to the ceiling. Of a tunnel for example. But the engines do have traction control on them to cut the engine out when it senses the tires breaking traction. They've came a long way with them but are supposed to be taking traction control off of them. Making the driver have to control it instead of electronics. F1 cars are the poop. Go Schumie!

maybe for an indy motor, but not F1, thats would cost a significant amount more

agree and disagree
yes it is very hard to deal buecause you have cut the firewall out and the center of the car out to make room for a driveshaft and then custom make a rear axle housing and driveshaft to fit ( I speak from expierence)
however if you are doing thr work yourself and have access to parts it doesnt cost a lot to do just a lot of time to be done right but if you have a shop do it then yes your are going to pay a ton
