EG Swaps - b16 poop

hey guys well i guess its alot more than just a blow headgasket in my 92 hatch the whole damn thing is out so guess im goin to a b16a....my question is whats the difference between all the different kinds the one im looking at is a b16 gen1 88-91 is it good im totally new at this or if you guys know of a place where i can buy absolutly everything im not to concered about how much im mainly concerned when they go to put the **** in i live im arkansas so if its not a 350 chevy they dont know what the heck there doin thanks -d

Youll want a newer one. ANything 92-95 so it will be OBD I and the tranny will be hydraulic. It will be better overall for the install and the reliability

if u are doin a swap buy new axles and shift linkage don't be a cheap **** like everyone do it right the first time.............

yea id go with the gen. 2 obd1 like he said, thats hopefully what i get when i get enough money to do a swap.
