New Member Introductions - i just joined

Hey guys i just joined like 2 seconds ago and wanted to ask what you guys thought about the color i should paint my car. I am getting a body kit. Im getting the tsunami front bumper and black widow sides and rear. My car is black now and i dont know whether to keep it black cause it looks pretty clean with my gunmetal wheels and carbon fiber hood, but im trying to decide wether to change it to white or red. I just want to get some opinions. If you have other color ideas that would look good with the wheels and hood let me know. Also i have other mods im planning on soon, that include an engine swap shaving the moldings on the side and shaving the rear lisence plate frame and frenching it into the bumper. </P>


As of now i have intake, exaust, custom interior trim pieces( that look like crap right now) custom altelzza tail lights vis carbon fiber hood, ebach springs koni yellow shocks and borbet wheels, that i had painted gunmetal. oh yeah 2 diamond audio 12s and an extant amp. Oh yeah and a pivot tach. Thats pretty much it. Anyays hit me up and let me know what you think.........by the way its a 97 dx coupe(hence the motor swap)...lol.</P>

If you have a carbon fiber hood and your car is currently blk, then I would defintely change the color to possibly red. White shows dirt too much and I love the red/blk combination. With a blk car, the CF hood doesn't show up well IMO. </P>

red if you dont mind paying extra for insurance.... I would choose a <FONT color=#006600>dark green</FONT>/black combo. or <FONT color=#000099>midnight blue</FONT>/black combo. I guess i just like the darker colors..lol </P>

welcome, i personally like <FONT color=#000099>BLUE</FONT><FONT color=#000000>/BLACK hood, or WHITE/BLACK hood(white wont show up) or maybe </FONT><FONT color=#ff6600>ORANGE</FONT><FONT color=#000000>/BLACK hoodbut thats just me! i dont mind </FONT><FONT color=#ff0000>RED</FONT><FONT color=#000000>/BLACK hood, but it hasnt really grown on me, i suggest drawing a rough sketch of the front and side of ur car, then just try different colors on it, thats wht i do when im bored, just draw a honda, scan it on the computer, then try different colors for it! that simple and you can compare colors really fast...so thats about it!</FONT>
