Well I should have posted this a week ago when i noticed nobody had mentioned it... have you guys (and gals) seen the new Family Guy movie, lemme tell you, buy it. No point in renting cause it's funny the first three times and the fourth time you get drunk and watch it, its good good stuff. Take $20 out of your account (or your mom's purse for some of you) and enjoy.

It's funny but at the same time I don't think it lived up to my expectations. It was also very long. When you're used to 21-minute long episodes of Family guy, 88 minutes seems like it drags on forever. There was also one particular flashback that even bothered ME, and I am not easily bothered (note that I said "bothered", not "offended").
All in all I'd say it was worth the 20 bucks that I paid for it, but I've seen it 3 and a 1/2 times now (only twice sober) and I probably won't be watching it again anytime soon.
I also hear they will be airing edited/censored versions of the three episodes next season (you did know that it's just 3 unaired episodes of FG glued together, right?)

That movie showed me why Family Guy is a TV Show and not a movie series. I now understand the wisdom of Matt Groening not allowing the Simpsons to become a feature length film. It was good, but it started to drag and after about 45 minutes. The plot was underthought and the cut sequences were too often. It's worth seeing, but not buying in my opinion. The best line though was at the beginning:
"Thank you Trisha for setting your people back a thousand years."

Ollie Williams, drunken Stewie and the part where Brian punches Stewies lights out were the only redeeming qualities of the movie. The whole part about it being drawn out doesn't bother me, it's the whole not even being remotely funny part that does.

i'm glad we didn't buy it. we got our hands on it when it was first leaked a couple of months ago. there were a few amusing parts, but overall it's pretty forgettable.
