I'm putting a B16 in my 92 hatchback. I was wondering if I can use the transmission out of my D15 or if I have to match the transmission with the motor. Thanks.

Deleted User 09-24-2004, 11:13 AM [Deleted by Admins] sacicons 09-24-2004, 11:41 AM yeah, any b-series tranny will work, but the gear ratios are set up to work well with that particular engine. the best tranny is the one from a type r, but other than that, i wouldnt recommend interchanging too much (out of looking for ultimate performance, not any reliability issues.) if you are doing a b16, then try to get a b16 tranny. a gsr tranny wouldnt be too bad, just stay away from the ls tranny. also, stick to a hydrolic clutch one. the cable ones can be made to work with a kit from HASPORT, but its more expensive than just getting the hydro tranny in the first place.
