ok so i finally put on my lowering kit (with stock suspension) and now I can say my car looks pretty damn good. However, whenever i turn i hear a loud pop or click noise. also if im driving for a while, i will start to hear small "thumps" comming from the front of the car. What did i do wrong and how can this be fixed. someone please. O and is the car still safe to drive. i dont wanna mess up something else by not fixing this problem.

 

well check to see if your tires are hitting the fender wells or maybe its your cv joints

 

how low is it? What spring kit did u get?

 

ya mabey your wheel is hitting your fenders, turn your weel to one side and another and get out and check to see that its clearing everything

 

I installed the eibach pro kit springs and my friend forgot to put on a cap on the very top of on of the springs. So i had to take it apart and put it back on. That eliminated the loud poping noise that i hear but i still hear thumps whenever i drive. I checked the well and i have good clearance.

 

depending on how it sounds..it could be the springs settling in,i no when myself and my friend installed our springs, for a couple days you can hear the springs make some weard noise settleing in..

 

you got any pics of it lowered?

 

I think i fixed it, one of the tie rods was stripped so the tapping noise was the strut moving. Thank god that was the only thing. as for the pics ill load them up probably this weekend.

 

what you pay for the kit

 

it was a new kit (about 200), the problem occoured when i installed them. Anyway i might get the skunk 2 coilover kit for x mas, if i do then i guess ill hafta sell the eibachs. o well. ill have the pics up soon
