I'm looking at various inexpensive exhaust options and I'm wondering if a dual-tip muffler like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8011246923&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT) Would be worse off than a single 4" tip. I'm not really a big fan of the coffee-can style mufflers, and there aren't really any cheap WS2 / SP2 knockoffs, so I just wondered if a 2.5" in, dual 3" out muffler on a custom 2.5" piping job would be able to give me comparable gains to your average 2.5" in 4" out generic catback.

I'm running a supercharged D16Y8 with 6 lbs. of boost, currently on stock exhaust.

IF YOURE LOOKING FOR HP A MUFFLER WONT DO ANYTHING... YOU NEED A FULL SYSTEM.. EVEN THEN THE GAIN ISNT AS MUCH AS THE AD SAYS

Yeah I know the muffler alone won't do anything, I'm asking about putting that muffler on a custom 2.5" piping job. I want to know if a dual tip muffler will give as much flow as a larger single tip, so I can get the most out of the piping.

it won't really matter at all. i'd go w/ the single 4in tip. that way they don't have to seperate the exhaust flow into two different things. - it doesn't really matter though.

it is the muffler that only has dual outlets......it dosent matter, go with eather or, which ever looks better because the single tip or dual tip is going to perform the same
