Count me in for a bottle, just tell me when your ready. Usually how many uses can you get out of a bottle?
Forty04
11-08-2005, 11:07 AM
Well, on the front of the bottle it says that one application lasts up to six months. But, I'm kind of a nut so I reapply about once a month. The cool part about this stuff is, it blocks out all the dirt and stuff. So once applied, and your car gets dirty, all you have to do is take it to a power washer and spray the bull**** off.
Oh, and I've been working on the same two bottles for about 9 months now. Still have about two applications worth left.

Forty - Gotta have one man! Nice work! Paypal - Check - Let me know...
By the way...on my '06 EX...I detailed it this past weekend...cleaned it very well using Black Magic Car Wash...everything done with microfiber. After I was done, used Maguire's NXT Speed Detailer and Invisible Glass...three words - Oh, hell yeah! That stuff is kicks ass! So, with that said, I'm interested in what Royal Blue can do... I'll may have to make sure I have something soft to fall on after it's done!
I was going to take pictures, but...it clouded up, got late and I had to drive it to work the next day (130 miles round trip). Oh well, maybe next weekend.

my appologies to all...
I'm an idiot and I managed to mess up my PayPal account. The only way it'll affect all of you is that the shipment will be slightly delayed. Basically when I went to send the money to my bank account FROM the paypal account, i accidentally did the oppopsite. Gay, anyway, I'll keep ya'll updated, but it will be at least tomorrow before I place the order..

And Forty i have a question, will this stuff fix clear coat damage. I have a buddy that tried to get tar off his car and wet sanded it with too rough of paper in the dark, well hes an idiot.

Royal blue is actually formulated to be a clear coat treatment, so I would have to say that it would probably fix his damage up nicely. As for using it in the winter, its the best time IMO. Just champ it out on a day thats like 30 degrees or so.
I will be doing another group buy, unfortunately I wont be able to give quite as good of a deal, as I kinda got screwed with shipping charges this time around. I thought it was going to be a lot cheaper to ship these damn things, but, oh well, its not a big deal.
Keep an eye out around spring time (maybe earlier) for the next group buy.
Forty04
12-14-2005, 10:42 AM
Actually, what I will probably do, is secure a "group buy" rate with the company that makes this stuff, and just have you guys call them yourselves with a code number to take advantage of the special price, it'll actually be easier, and cheaper that way. For everyone involved.

Thanks MXS!!!
Talon, I hear ya man, its hard to justify going out and shining for a couple hours, knowing damn well it'll be covered in crap the next day. But, theres light at the end of the tunnel. The beauty of using Royal Blue in the winter, is that it puts like a protective coat on the car. After you've applied it to the whole car, and it gets covered with salt/dirt, you can usually just bring it to the manual car wash, and spray all that crap, leaving the nice shine intact. Without Royal Blue, you'd have to scrub hard to get the salt off everytime.
well if it acts like a forcefield against salt... I might give it a shot once it gets here. If it gets above like 38 degrees anytime soon.
edit: okay, maybe over like 34 degrees. I could deal with that.

Like I told you in that PM this morning, the next time around this is going to run a LOT smoother. Basically I will post up a code number, for anyone here to call in to Elite Products with. Just call, give them that number, and tell them how many bottles you want. You'll get the discount, and quicker shipping (cause you won't have to wait for me to repackage and reship ;))

ok, no problem
Thanks!
Well I just finished trying this out on my parents' cars, as a christmas present, since it was about 45 degrees here today.. I was going to do mine too, but it was dark by the time I finished.
I thought, should I waste any Royal Blue on a 6-year-old denty minivan that hasn't been waxed since the factory? probably not, but I had to practice on something. ;) Looks pretty good.
I did my dad's Accord too, which was pretty shiny to start with, but it looks even better now. (I didn't shine the engine, just wanted a picture of it)
I'll get to my own car soon. :D Thanks Forty!

Forty, I've been detailing cars for 16 years now and have tried many many many different waxes. I recently decided to spend the money on some Zaino after reading all the hype about it. Worked well but was time consuming and very spendy. I also just tried P21S since that had excellent reviews for a carnauba wax. It worked well and was very easy to use but I think the Zaino looked a little better. The price of the Royal Blue is very affordable but I've never herd of it and would like to be able to get more info on it. What makes it so much better that every other wax out there? Is it carnauba or Synthetic? I really don't care how long it last since I probably wax the car every other week anyway. If you could send me more info that would be great.:)

Call the number as ask them about it man, I'm sure they'd be more than happy to fill you in on technicalities.. I can tell you that its a carnauba formula, by far the best I've ever used. It's as easy as one...two....and that's it.

alright i used the Royal Blue today and damn, that stuff is pretty impressive. I didnt even wash my car or anything, all i did was wipe the dirt off with a cloth and put it on. It really does rejuvenate the paint, trust me, for a 10 year old car with 166k and no new paint job or touch ups, it worked pretty damn well. I like how it dosnt leave swirle marks or any marks for that matter when finished. The directions that they gave arnt very good but its not much different than using ur typical wax. which brings me to my question for 40, do u have any tips or suggestions on how to use the product???
thanks

I got my Royal Blue today..!
I washed my car immediately and applied Royal Blue on it by buffing.
It was easy to use. It wasn't hard to get it off either compared to the previous wax that I have used.
The white stuff that gets on the black parts from waxing is also less visable.
I rushed the process a bit because the sun was going to set soon.
Here are some pictures. The one on the left is the older picture, and on the right after using Royal Blue. Hope you can tell haha

If it's flat black I highly suggest NOT putting any wax on the paint. It will most likely sink in and you will not be able to wipe it all off. You could try a small section in a descreat area if you like. It's flat black...it's supposed to be dull [:-]

Yeah man I agree. I ordered the deal on April 18th...the girl told me it would only be a couple bucks for shipping. It ships out of Ohio and I live in Wisconsin. She said 5-7 days for it to get here, but she said probably only take about 3 days to get here. My credit card was charged 28.70 I guess almost 9 bucks it "a couple bucks." Oh yeah it's the 28th and I still never rceived my wax.

well, you're not the only one it's happened to. I'm sorry but you will just have to be patient. It took me a couple months to finally get ahold of them and set this whole thing up.
The company is run and operated by only a few people. Sometimes they go on breaks for trade shows and things of that nature (thats how I firstsaw the product in the first place).
Best thing you can do is NOT call on the weekends since they're usually at shows. Call during rugular business hours during the week. Aside from that , patience is key

Ohhh.. Sad that I just seen this thread today, wow. Screw getting Meguiars. If this is one of the best top notch waxes, and for 2 for $20.. Meguiars can't beat that.
I'm ordering me a couple bottles when I get some money. I'd love to get a buffer, waxing can be a PITA if done by hand.. Well, I have a slanted driveway, and its just a pain for me [:@].

TBH, waxing by hand is a pita but can look really good. I think that when we hand wax the black cars at honda (I help detail some cars at honda when im not selling parts) and they look better than the ones that we buff, but it does take a lot longer

Yeah.. Tell me about it. To give my car a NICE wax its usually 1~2 hours, because I take my time and make sure its in good and rub her down nice and smooth:D.
Also, just called Royal Blue friday and got their answer machine, and tried every few hours.. I'll give it another shot tommorow.

Hi, I've got a call from Royal Blue today after I had gave them my contact info on their "contact us" page and the girl on the phone was very nice and patience (finding the cheapest shipping method for Canada). Just ordered 2 bottles for $30 & changes, including shipping of cause. I'll come back with the result once I got them from the mail. Also, is the HondaCivicForum.com stickers\decals still avaliable for purchase on this site?

Hey Vilex, nice lookin shine. It seems that R/B could bring another lvl of shine on dark color cars. Did you just wash and wax with R/B? or you had prep the paint with pre-wax cleaner and claybar?
And PennstateED, thanks for the heads up.

Civicseeker: All I did was wash it at the carwash, then just waxed her up with RB, and that was it.
