this thread is for everyone who has seen the fast and the furious, and spotted out things they did wrong....i'm sure the list could go on for years, but lets limit ourselves.........

in the first scene, the mileage on the eclipse is more than the mileage on the eclipse in the first race scene.

yeah...heres a problem...the skinny dorks VW actually keeps up with an R33 and a FD3S when crusing around town...

im not sure if its the first one or the second, but when you look at the rx7 motor in the back..its fake, its a blown up pitcher and they stuck it to the plastic, they did so many things like that to make it look like it had things, but its really just fake...i saw that in the extras on the dvd..it must be the second one

in the first one, when the gto and supra race... he shifts like a manual (in the gto) and when it shows his foot hitting the gas it has auto gas and brake pedals LOL

also....the first one..... NITROUS IS NOT EXPLOSIVE LET ALONE FLAMMABLE!!!!!!!!! (and if it was i doubt it would be green, WTF?!)

The one that always got my attention the most (that hasn't been mentioned yet) was at the beginning of the race, big Vinny shifts into first, then right as they launch, he shifts to second...

I haven't seen the movie in years though, so that's the biggest one I remember.

I know that the the Team Falken FD RX-7's the one that Seigo Yamamoto drive has an SR20DET in it, the twin cars were featured in the December issue of Modified Mag

More people than you think. It's becoming a more and more popular swap as people realize that it can actually be done. I'm serious.

on the second movie where there is the cop scene on the highway you see in the evo and it has sports pedals and like the next scence you see in the evo its got stockies. You really think the director would pick up these little mishaps wouldnt you its ridiculous! And whats this about a third fast and the furious, and ideas on who the actors will be. I reckon a sweet start to the third movie would be to random cars pulling up at the lights ready to go each other. Then they both wind down the windows and its paul walker and vin diesel then there is a sudden look of suprise on their faces...... that would be sweeeeeet!!!

I don't know if this's been posted already, but I really don't think they have ever shifted to 1st or third throughout either movie. Cuz it's SOOO much more dramatic to have the camera show 15+ shifts to 2nd and 4th for every race scene! :D

Theres the thread where we discussed it here. They were doing casting calls for drift drivers and female asain background eye candy for a while. Anyway, do a little searching online theres a few sites that tlak about it.

I am supprised that no body has commented on the "double clutching" BS. Why would you do this in an sport compact with syncros? DUH!!

Heres one at the end of the first movie (when they race the charger against the supra) well while the charger is in midflight after hitting the semi ( and somehow using it as a launch ramp[:@] ) You can see the stunt mans bright yellow helmet, I mean come on dont we have the technology to use a black helmet so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb?

how about when Vin says he hit the guy who killed his dad with a 3/4 inch torque wrench until he couldnt lift his arm? anyone ever seen a 3/4 inch torque wrench? its about 3 1/2 feet long, and weighs about 60 pounds. one hit and the guy would have been dead. then they showed a picture of the guy and he was just swollen and bruised.

even with its many faults it still was an awesome movie

well, its still awesome that they made it, i think it could have been way better off-hollywood. i really dont mind the hollywood mess-ups so much as what it did to the scene. every punk out there thinks hes bad ass, and cops are all over all of us forit now.

I don't think this one has been said yet. If you remeber in the 2nd movie when the cop on helichopter shoots the Evo with 3 prong thing to shut the car off. THe thing is sparking all over the place and the white guy pulls the thing off and the car runs fine. I'm assuming that the device works by sending a masssive amount of voltage to the computer (sparks = 10KV) so if the computer had already been send the massive voltage, pulling the thing off won't fix it. Its already broken. SO ho does that work?l

Easy. They pulled over, Walker turned to the cops and said, "Hold up a sec, bro'," then got in the other Evo parked on the side of the road and started the chase again.

here's one. all the cars in that movie didn't blow up from all the NOs they used. LOL.

The engine would blow well before that speed in reverse wouldn't it?

The tranny would self-destruct as soon as you popped the clutch doing 80+ in reverse. The engine might actually survive, since it would be over so fast.

i wonder how many people tried that after that movie
