i know that most BMW, Acura, Lexus, Mercedes, ect ect,(higher up cars) have H.I.D's in them stock, but i was just wondering before i go out and spend the $300-$400 for them if they were legal in Canada to get the aftermarket ones for my EG, cause nothing would be more of a **** off for me than getting them and getting pulled over and ticketed for something that turned out to be "illegal". i have read the sites that sell them but they dont fully specify if they are or not.

I am assuming that means no they are not legal, but the main thing is that i think it might be one of those thing that they might overlook so when i save my money i might get them anyway.

 

How can they be illegal if a lot of cars have them as factory equipment? Pretty sure you're fine.

Yes, HIDs are legal in Canada or all those luxury cars would be in trouble.

ya no way thos are not legal...like every nice car has them, if your on the highway at night in traffic, like every 20th car has them...they look soo sick with projecter headlights...250 shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to get them sooo bad, but i need to concintrate on getting my car paid off..after if thats still the price i will get them for sure
