Audio/Visual Electronics - Rear speakers on 93 civic 3 door ??

Hellooo, does anyone know if the 3dorr civics have pre wired connectors for the rear of the car, mine has only got the front speakers and want some rear ones, i changed my head unit to a single cd kenwood player/radio and had to buy a different connector for the wiring loom because the standard one was different to the head unit i was fitting, i really want some rear speakers but even if there is wire to the rear, where do i fit them....Many thanks for any replies....

what year is your HB and it should have back speakers. If not buy some
9" by 6" and put them in a box that will make then sound really nice.

Hi VOVKA86, the year of my car is 1993, i removed those panel insert type things from the rear quartet panels ( where the rear passanger sits at the side), couldnt find any wires that looked like speaker wire, just a loom type thingy, also there dosnt seem to be any purpose made holes to connect any speakers to even if you cut a hole out of the panel, what i thought was fitting some in the parcel shelf with propper conectores to the loom so that if i need to remove the shelf i could just unclip the speaker wire and out it comes......dunno how many of you out there have fitted speakers in the rear if it didnt come with any.....

LEVIII, i would love see a pickie of them, just to get an idea of what i need to do, as a last resort i will put them in the parcel shelf...but i gotta find the wires first, if no wires then no speakers. LOL

Well i found the wires, boy they were well down n hidden in the side panel, LEVIII did you manage to get them picks of the rear speakers, going to set about fitting them this weekend....
