I was just wondering how many peaple on this forum live in the willamette valley in oregon. I live in brownsville if you dont know where that is it's about 11 miles from Lebanon.

Ok so what kinds of cars do you drive like years? and what modifications do you sport
I personally drive a 98' Honda civic EX coupe it has:

17" amp wheels from Les Schwab
AEM short ram intake
and after this month il have a Maganaflow exhaust

93 hatch dx
dc header
aem cai
lowering springs
short shifter

so where do most of you get your mods? I personally pick up some from horsepower freaks in portland but i was wondering if anyone knows of any better and closer places

okay but i mean does he carry alot of after market parts? And I was wondering is it the kind of place you have to know exactly what you shopping for or it a showroom type store that you can go in and get just whatever you want?

I live near Independence, south of Monmouth, east of Salem.

I'm not into much in the way of modifications. I have a '77 Civic 1500. I'm always looking for replacement parts as the dealers no longer have anything. Engine parts I can usually get from Valley Specialists which is a good repair shop in Salem specializing in Hondas and Acuras. Sure would like to know where I might get trim and body parts.

I hate Speed Concept. They are a bunch of dirty con-artists that ripped me off! Go to Race Dezign just down the road from them. Race Dezign's owner Fred has employees that actually speak english and that know how to at least make you feel like you're getting a deal. S.C. screwed me over with some 00 si rims I didnt order.... long story with that, but I hate them. I live in Northwest Portland in the Pearl District

I would chose SC over Race Dezigns. But thats just because I have had a GREAT experience there. I guess it just depends on what you are looking for. SC has more stuff in stock usually. Also depends on if you want the quality stuff or the cheap stuff. It all depends on your budget. Go talk to Tony at Speed Concepts. At least there name is spelled right!;)

Personally I like horsepowerfreaks there areally good shop and have given me alot of good deals and respect.

Hello this is Keith. I live in Alsea, which is outside Corvallis. I have a 89' hatch that I am currently putting a 1.6L DOHC ZC in. It is not completed yet, but should be done in a month or so.
