ECU Tuning & Fuel Management - ECU upgrade

Hey guys, Need some help from the experts here. I need my ECU uprated, but I can't find any companies that sell them or re-map them for my specific one, the only one close is an AEM re programmer but thats $2000, Mugen don't supply one for a 1.3 either, is there anyone who knows of anyone who can do the upgrade? Oh and I'm in the UK which is another problem.

What do you mean by NEED your ecu upgraded? The only time that should be done is if your looking for hidden horsepower or you need it for fuel issues like an extra injector or larger injectors. If its just "broke" then look to the junkyard for one.

There are quite a few on the market. Look the internet for unichip or jet. These are some of the more popular ones, and are closer to about $500 dollars.

check out Hondata, but unless you have some serious power upgrades, like a turbo or something, ecu mods wont do much for you.

not to steal the thread but congrats onthe mod position sacicons... I just now noticed it, haha.

Yeah I need to release hidden BHP, they can add up to 35bhp on the right engine just by chucking in a bit more fuel, but its finding a remapper to do it thats the problem
