Inside and Out - ...carbon fiber...

Ok..does anyone know where I could get a cheap CF hood? For a 95ex. Someone hit and ran my stepdads commuter..now the front end is all messed up. So he wants a CF hood for xmas. It doesnt have to be any great one..its not like hes tryin to do weight reduction for racing. Mainly a CF would be great cause he doesnt have to have it painted. And they are lighter. I dunno..its just what he said he wants. I dont think he cares about having a $600+ one. So any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you can get the VIS ones off of ebay for like 450 bucks.....

they also have some custom ones made by shops that are like 350....

www.teknotik.com. I have no idea what shipping would be but they have CF hoods for $550 CAD. Also don't forget you will need to drill for washer nozzles and add hood pins or the hood will fly up.

I know VIS makes theres with hood latches so you dont need hood pins but i dont know if they have washer nozzles in there hoods.

You can pick up an OEM CF hood for less than 400; most places charge about 150 for shipping. You could also talk to Sam, he gave me an awesome quote on a Seibon hood.
