Hey all! Im surprised i couldnt find any solutions to by prob here cos ye seem to have everything masterd! Neway...
Im trying 2 take off the door panels on the front doors so i can spray em. I have a 95 3dr hatch. But the windows arent electric. My buddy has had the same problem with his civic. The crank wont come off! I took off all the screws holding the panel on and unhooked all the clips around the door so the inside panel is basically being held on by the window crank and nothing else.
I looked down behind it to see if i could spot any screws or bolts but all i saw was like a plastic cover or something going around the mechanical bits of the window crank (hope that makes sense) and it didnt look like there was any way of taking it off unless i kick the damn thing off! I've been at it a while now and i still have 2 take off the dash so iv given up til some1 can advise me! Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks very much! :D

theres a little horseshoe shaped piece of metal behind the handle. get a small screwdriver or something in there and push it off. and watch where it goes, because they are known for getting lost as they fly off.

its hard to get off at first and you wont be able to see it, use your finger to try and feel around..turn the horseshoe pin so the opening is facing upwards and then push one side of it off with a screwdriver and the other one should follow with a couple shakes, one you get it off you can do it with you eyes closed..i had to take them off so many times when i worked in a shop
