ED-EF Swaps - tps sensor wiring

i have a question. i did a z6 swap in my ef and used a conversion harness to convert to obd 1. the only problem i have is with the tps sensor. the instructions said to swap the two outer wires on the sensor plug to make it work right. i was just wondering what colors and in what order are the three stock tps wires because i think i might have them switched around in the wrong order, and if they are in the wrong order would i need a new tps sensor because it might be damaged from the reversed wiring. thanks a lot everyone
right now i run the car without it plugged in, it runs fine without it except for the CEL, but with it plugged the idle goes up and down

You need to switch the green/white and yellow/white wires. They should be on the outside of the plug.
its nuts how he knows this garbage off the top of his head.

but i was wondering what colors the stock wires are and in what order were they before you are supposed to switch them.

Damn you and your camera...;)
And no, it won't do any damage to the sensor, but your engine will think you're at WOT when you're idling.

I have one, but A) the camera is just an absolute piece, B) I don't have any way to get the pics onto my computer, and C) I don't have a 4G to take pictures of... :D

lol.....i just text the pic to my email and then host it on myspace. not the greatist but it works.....maybe we should start up a "buy kappa a 4g" foundation

Well, I didn't enable the pix messaging thing on my plan because they charge you up the ass to send one.
As for the fund, that would be pretty damn cool, but I've already been through 6 of them. I'm looking for an S13 240 SX for my next project.

so before the swap (obd0 dpfi) the wires were yellow red green, after the obd1 mpfi conversion it should be green red yellow? or is that backwards

thank you so much for the help guys, one more question. if the sensor need to be replaced, is that a dealer only item with the trottle body, or can i go to autozone and get one? and if i get one do i have to "clock it", make sure it reads the proper voltage closed and open.
