ok...i know this guy in colorado and he has a place there that sells motors cheap...he can get me a b18 for 600...i was just woundering what i would need to put it in my 91 hatch. my original plan was to throw in a d16 but that sounded like a good price for the motor so im having second thougths...i know the installation will be more expensive but could someone give me a guess on about how much more money im lookin at after the motor..and what i would need..thanks guys

p.s if anyone knows shipping rates or where i can find out about how much it would be to ship that motor from colorado to florida that would help to because thats really the only thing that my change my mind about getting it...thanks again

im pretty sure its only the motor, i will find out more tonight. i askeds him to find out a price for a b16 with tranny and b18 with tranny, but shipping may kill it.

thats not THAT good of a price then. its not bad at all, but you will need a lot of other parts. you need a tranny, the manifolds, the ecu, the shift linkage, the throttle cable (it can be done with yours, but its a pain), and a few more things. unless you plan on going crazy with the car, stick with a d16. esp on a budget.

i know some one who has the B18a1 swap done in his ED, i know you would need the Bseries mount kit and shiftlinkage, and most likely the axles off a 90 teg with the b1 in it.
