If is a minor scratch, i think you can use cutting compound. I've heard that this works, but i've never actually tried it.

I really don't know much about it. My friend was telling me that the teacher went to one of the cars at school and keyed it. Then he pulled out the buffer and cutting compound and took the scrach out as a demo. He never did that for my class, so i didn't get to see it.

Check out this article it may help. You will need to evaluate your scratch to see if it can be fixed by the method discussed. A pic of the scratch would help a lot. Best of luck to you.

Can you feel the scratch with your finger nail? If you can it's pretty deep and maybe through the clear or paint. If not it can be buffed out. otherwise I have filled in some scratches in the past that were deep (through the paint) and depending on how well the paint matches you would never know it had been there. I then wetsand the filled in scrath leveling it off with the original paint. Then I buffed out the wet sanding marks. Not something I suggent doing yourself really...If you still need help send me a PM.
