Im going to pick up my 04 civic this afternoon, and found this site. I was formerly a part of asog (avenger/sebring owners group) but im getting rid of my avenger so im trying this site. Hopefully it turns out to be as informative and helpful as asog. So hi everybody, looking forward to years of fun out of the new car

For the exhaust modification you should put Skunk2 Exhaust on it cause they are suposed to be the besr exhaustr mod for civics, but deffinately drop it full exhaust intake rims and a turbo, then the thihng would be SWEET

Ok ntxmotorsports, and slim11420, so its suspension first, what is a good brand, for a reasonable price? Ive also seen the discussion of coilovers vs lowering springs, which would you guys reccomend. I drive this car a LOT so i need a decent ride.

avoid coilovers then.

id still get coilovers...if you drive the car alot, coilovers will give you the luxury of being able to adjust the ride heigth when you dont want the car dropped on the ground. ive got ground control coilovers and tokico adjustables on mine and love the setup...allows alot of room to tweak for performance or comfort.

while you have everything torn apart you might want to consider some poly bushings...this will help your handling alot!

How much is a setup like that?
slim11420

sh*t...i dont even remember what i paid for this setup...its gonna depend on what you actually end up getting...with the car being brand new im sure there isnt a HUGE aftermarket selection yet...i could be wrong though...realistically, you can expect to spend 300-400 on adecent set of coilovers (not race coilovers...those can run 5K). as far as shocks...adjustables (if they even have them yet) will probably run ya around 400...poly bushing kit shouldnt be more than 130. these prices are just guesstimations so you'll have to do some searchin around...you might even be able to find a good hook up and get the sh*t cheaper than this.

Actually, i think coilovers are better. You can lower or raise the car anytime you want Actually, i think coilovers are better. You can lower or raise the car anytime you want. This is what i have:

Your gonna spend about 3 bills for these but there are cheaper setups out there.
