i have an idea of moving my rear license plate onto the actual rear bumper and covering up where it is currently placed. has anyone done that before? i have a combat rear bumper and it has a place for the plate. i think that would look extremely clean. lend me you thoughts on it. ihave a pic of the back of my car on the photo album, i'm at work and can't save pix to repost them. kinda sucks but oh well.

 

so you want to mold it into the bumper right? i have seen it done but i think it looks ricey cause the mojority of people that do it place it crooked intentionally

 

ummm....if done right it would look sick....go for it...

 

its not going to be crooked. the original spot where the plate is right now will be covered and the plate will be bolted on the bumper in the middle. here is a pic of what the back looks like now. just imagine the plate being between the black open spots on the bumper and the spot where the plate was covered and of course painted black.

ok sounds good. but what about the current spot? and what if you get a fender bender and your plates get bent or fall off?

 

plus what about the lights for it? it has to be seen at night.

Anyway that would look really sick. I never got the slanted license frame thing.

 

lookin to get it sprayed soon here, got the money just gotta talk to some people. as for a fender bender or bent plates, i can just drill 2 holes in the metal frame part right behind the bumper. as for the lights, there is a part over the top of where the plate would go( kinda like a lip) that i can install a light to show the plate at night.

 

ive seen a few like that, and i think it looks horrible. i loved the idea before i saw them, but i just think it looks awkward.

 

eh EG's dont look right with the plate "Shaved" off..........just leave it. Seriously, dont think about anything, except for painting that body kit.
