Im not a new member or anything but, I just sold my civic dx and got an 02 celica gt. I actually wanted to get this car because of the low compression ratio compared to the gts because I plan on boosting it. Do any of you guys know any good sites where I can get a turbo or supercharger for a celica. I find it much more difficult to find parts for this compared to the civic which was incredibly easy.

congratulations on the purchase my sister has the same car. sorry i dont know anywhere that makes turbo kits for the celica off the top of my head i am sure they are out there though. Good luck with the car.

 

they make turbos AND superchargers for the car. go to dedicated celica site and you'll have more than enough information to get you started.

btw, if i were you, I'd start with a rear brake swap first. those drums in the back are kinda ancient looking on such a sporty ride.

 

TRD makes a supercharger for the low compression version of that engine( the one that your car has)

 

ya TRD should have loads of stuff for celicas

 

Just a heads up: it's not the most boost-friendly engine ever created...
