I believe the Si brakes are larger than stock for you, since they came with 15" wheels (not 14" like the EX) importcivicus 03-21-2006, 05:35 PM I still have stock brakes. importcivicus 03-21-2006, 05:47 PM can someone with either a 99-00 civic si measure the stock rotors for me. Im looking for a 15" Front rotors. mxs 03-22-2006, 01:00 AM the rotors aren't gonna be that big. The RIMS are 15" so there's no way the rotors will be the same size importcivicus 03-22-2006, 08:25 AM What kit will fit in a 15" rim then I dont know. sacicons 03-22-2006, 08:30 AM get integra brakes. they are bigger than stock, and will fit in 15s. and you dont need 15" brakes. most big rigs dont need 15" discs. Forty04 03-22-2006, 10:19 AM oooooohhh, you want a kit that will fit in a 15" wheel, not actual 15" rotors. I was going to say, that's friggin rediculous. What kind of HP numbers are you shooting for? I'd just go with teg brakes.. importcivicus 03-22-2006, 10:22 AM Yeah sorry about that I tought u all would catch on and all but I wasnt trying to use a 15" rotor. Well anyways whats a good set up? importcivicus 03-22-2006, 10:23 AM Brig rigs use a drum brake there are no rotors at all on them so nice try. Unless they mad a mod to there truck. mxs 03-22-2006, 11:28 AM ORIGINAL: importcivicus I tought u all would catch on . . . whats a good set up? I caught on, and I did answer your question. Forty04 03-24-2006, 01:05 PM ORIGINAL: importcivicus Well anyway I was shooting for about 400whp if possible. track car, or dd? riceburner700 03-24-2006, 06:39 PM heres a good site that will let you use up to a 11inch kit and work with 15" rotors www.fastbrakes.com they also have drag racing brake kits as well. importcivicus 03-24-2006, 10:04 PM for right now both maybe later on it will be a track car only. Marty 03-25-2006, 04:10 AM Brembo replacement rotors stock size plus a good set of pads and new "hard" brake lines all the way to your caliper will be anough for you. Your car is not nowhere near fast enough to need a big brake kit and to tell the truth not many other civic's are either period. 93civichatch 08-27-2006, 08:46 PM www.sportcompactonly.com <that site has a lot of brake kits. My dad has 2 firebirds with C5 corvette brakes on them and those are 13"s . Nail I3unny 08-28-2006, 10:59 AM im pretty sure the biggest rotor you could fit under 15's is about an 11. look at the FastBrakes place that riceburner posted. |
