HIDS are great, actually one of my favorite mods i've done. Also, reliability depends on brand mostly and if you treat them right they supposidly last forever.

I have a great HID hookup if you are interested. Very cheap and great stuff. Totally plug and play, no cutting. PM me if you want the info.

if they are just bulbs that say HID's and are somewhere in the 40-60 price range they are not true HID's they have to come with all the eqipment some bulbs say HID color but are not HIDs at all mine cost 300 for the whole set

yeah, its a full HID kit... bulbs and ballasts. He's got 5300k's for $250 shipped and higher kelvins like the 8000k's for about $300, if I remember right.

Are you talking about xenon bulbs or an actual HID kit.......there is a huge difference.

that is what i was wondering cause the price range is way different so if he is looking at bulbs that are under 50 bucks they are not HID's just the packaging say that they are similar to HID's its kind of deciving

I need to get fog lights for my new 06 Si. I'm wondering if they make HID ones?
