I'm selling my 1996 4 DR Stick shift Honda Civic LX with 186,XXX miles on it. I got another car so I'm trying to get rid of this car by the end of the week. If I don't sell it buy Saturday I may just sell it to a dealer. So make me an offer! A mechanic says it needs a new transmission but it still is running and driveable. That's the only major problem. Minor problems are rust spots on the hood along with a few other body blemishes and the metal that connects to the muffler pipe broke and needs to be welded back together (that can be done for about $60). The online Kelly Blue book value is estimated at $2700(w/o the transmission problem). I'm asking 1700 to make up for the transmission cost. So email me at el_boogie28@yahoo.com so we can discuss prices. I'm located in Willingboro, NJ. I prefer a local buyer but if in a considerable distance then I'm willing to meet halfway. I don't have pics right now but I am going to take some tonight and have them posted by the end of the night. Or email me if you would like me to send you pictures.

how bad is the ride?... is there alot of play in the clutch? slipping in the tranny?

not really bad at all, just a little louder than normal. 2 of my friends dont think its the tranny and think the bearings in the clutch are just loose and thats what causes the noise. the mechanic may have been lying to get more money. myself and others seem to think it drives normal.
