check your knock sensor. My boyfriend's car threw out the same code, and it turned out to be the knock sensor. Test it, it won't hurt.

If you fixed the problem you have to reset the computer Glitch said disconect the battery for a few seconds.
otherwise the check engine light is going to turn on even the problem is fixed.

I don't get it, you don't know what the problem is? Just go to the nearest autozone, and ask them to test it, they will tell you what's wrong. Also note, that sometimes a single problem could trip several codes, so don't fix everything at once. On my Jetta, the check engine came on, and it showed misfires in 3/4 cylinders, and a bad O2 sensor. So I changed the plugs and wires, but the check engine light stayed on. I disconnected the battery for about 10min, and it went away - no more codes either. So after you fix something that activates your check engine light, follow Vovka86s advice.

i take out the fuse to the ecu, or unplug it if its out, then let it sit w/o power for 20-30 minutes (i havent tried it in less time, so i know that long works.) that way you dont have to reprogram the radio and clock and all that every time.
