Header, Intake, & Exhaust - help !!!!!

hey whats up guys ! i have a 99 civic si and i have an obx exhaust on it right now with an aem short ram intake !! i dont like the sound of the obx its too low ! im looking for an exhaust that sounds like it has a beed or something in it !! i know it sounds funny but it does hehe! anyways if u know of one like this please let me know ! if u have a sound clip please post it so i can hear it thanks so much !! <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

love the sound of my greddy evo....doesnt sound like rice...no pissed off lawnmower going on...its not obscene at low rpms but sounds tough when vtec is opening up</P>

The Greddy Evo ro Evo2 cat back system is nice gives off a good pwerful sound, though something with the same build and a little louder, if that is what ur going for, you can check up on the TSUDO cat back system maybe $100 to $200 cheaper and gives off same HP with same quality, though i stick with GReddy it gives more of a roar and is not as loud.

i had an aerospeed muffler with 2.25 exh no cat in my old b16 crx and that thing sounded like a mad bee going down the freeway. wish i had a sound clip, wait no i dont. im sure id get flamed for it<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

no a beed ! like it sounds all raspy ! like a tin can with a beed in it ! thats what i want it to sound like ! i hear it all the time but the cars will be going the other way on the road so i cant ask them !! anyone know of this sound ?? maybe have sound clip ?</P>

Walmart. Are you looking for more of a 2-stroke engine dirt bike
sound? If so, that sound comes from all the ricers who can't afford a
nice exhaust.

hey guys i found out what that sound is !! i met a girl with a magnaflow and she had that sound i liked !! i asked her and she said that all civics make that raspy sound when u change the piping from the cat back !! she also took off her resonater ! sorry about the spelling hehe ! but anyways ! thats the sound i love !

if you put on a magnaflow catback it will sound good, if you put on a magnaflow catback without the resonator it will sound like you want it to...then again you can just cut yours out on your OBX and get the same effect.

i want a magnaflow now.....what one do you guys recomend. i want to keep the factory look out back. ill even throw on a crush bent tip on there :) right now i have a cherry bomb turbo and it sounds nice n low but that its. i want a little more raspy sound to it. i have a crx with a 40 series flowmaster on it and i hate that thing. sounds nice at idle and low rpms but other than that it sux.
