NTX 05-20-2006, 02:41 AM i tried some on my in-laws car (http://www.nissanforum.com/m_4979/tm.htm). its cool. Forty04 05-20-2006, 10:53 AM I'm FINALLY going to get a chance to use mine today, I'm psyched mill$civic 05-20-2006, 09:45 PM i was just reading that link and the person sead they put it on and wipe it off..i thought you dident have to take it off?? but forty post about if it did a good job or not, im going to get some based on your decision because i no your all about the shine Forty04 05-22-2006, 09:39 AM Product review coming shortly. ....but for now, honestly, I wasn't that impressed. mill$civic 07-17-2006, 06:25 PM well..on my day off i decided to go get some turtle wax ice and give my car a shot, i love this stuff, no white crap..on the down side, after you put it on..you still have to buff it out, you dont really need to, i did a buff in like 5 minits but if you really wanted to get a good shine you can spend some time on it, and it will last you about 8 waxes and comes with its own sponge and cloth so you dont need to buy anything else..i give this stuff high marks just because its so easy and no white stuff, it also gave my car a very nice shine, almost looks like a peal now...here are some pics,my car is very light so i dont get the same reflection as a black or red car, but it came out pretty dam good..just need to see how it holds up now local://upfiles/2140/E97BC8C22ADB48BF84ECB6C9DA43FB11.jpg local://upfiles/2140/57CE66CE47D74807BB3536972ACC5244.jpg local://upfiles/2140/35EB3A89631F40938E185D3F65C54CB3.jpg b16hatch 08-04-2006, 03:12 PM i used some i used the Ice n regular turtle wax hard shell n i cant see the difference. civicexracer 08-04-2006, 05:28 PM i used the ice detailer thing and its ok but its def. not something u'd go crazy over... mill$civic 08-04-2006, 10:15 PM actually something bad i found was that its kinda sticky after you wax it so dust sticks to it really easy, but after you wash it the first time it goes away MccM 08-05-2006, 12:19 PM I just got it and tried and didnt notice it did much to improve the shine. But, on the plus side it is extremely easy to use and no white stuff. civicblend97 08-15-2006, 11:05 PM i used the ice wax last weekend on my 97 civic and on a crappy loking 91 accord. also i have a buffer and it made a huge difference on the 91 and a good difference on mine i love it i reccomend it addiction2bass 08-26-2006, 04:06 PM i used it on my 99 civic and it looked great! tho nothing more impressive than any other stuff ive used BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thier not being any white powder left over is REALY GREAT! i tried some other standard stuff and HATED that white residue so stoped using it.LOL im defiantly gonna stick with using the ICE every time i buff my paint... but most the time i just go thru MIKES EXPRESS CAR WASH ;) best wash place i say..... Mark 09-04-2006, 05:13 PM addiction2bass I am surprised you liked it on your black car. I absolutley hated it on the subie. I dont know what happend. I tried it two different times but it just ended up looking like ****. I was very dissapointed. addiction2bass 09-04-2006, 07:00 PM what problem did you have with it? worked great on my paint! tho i need to do it again now.... after so many washes it doesnt hold up to well. BUT for not having all that white fluff powder its still great stuff! maybe your car just wasnt cool enough.... i did mine on a cool day after it had been siting out all night and still in the shade. Mark 09-04-2006, 07:14 PM No i did it in the evening both times. After buffing it hardcore. I even used an electric buffer. The finish was really streaky and oily. Left major fingerprints where ever you touched. To be honest I washed the car with dawn after applying it to cut the oily junk. It made the car look worse than before i washed it. addiction2bass 09-04-2006, 08:06 PM very odd... ya shake up the bottle realy good? it says too..... i didnt thave any problems when i did mine.. Mark 09-04-2006, 09:49 PM hmmm maybe i should pursue this because im pretty sure the bottle says satisfaction guarenteed. mill$civic 09-04-2006, 10:52 PM ya thats one thing i didnt like..it made it oily for the first time, but after you wash it its nice..and it repels dirt i found ..but ya, i will only use this stuff all the time because no white powder, that stuff was killing me..i still find white marks from the begining of the summer on certin spots! dfdon 09-04-2006, 11:26 PM basically worked just as good as the mothers i had used before addiction2bass 09-05-2006, 01:08 AM o ya i still have white residue on my window trim.... what should i use to remove it off the rubber? |
