The LX has a place holder for the fog lights in the bumper.</P>

Besides going back to the stealership, are there any lights that fit or at least look good in the spot for the originals?</P>

Also the manual mentions daytime running lights for the Canadian cars. Can / how is this added to my 'merican car?</P>

Fog lights:Depending on what year your car is you might be able to buy a Honda kit from http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic.html (http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic.html target=)</P>

Then see if you can have a local car audio/electronics install them for you. I had looked into getting a kit for my '99 a few months ago and the shop I talked to said they would charge around $80-$100 for install. That's a lot less $$$$ than the Honda dealer quoted me.</P>

I'm thinking abt getting the PIAA 1100x foglights. They r kind of expensive but won't get them until I buy a new lip. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/piaa/P1192_1100X_clr_drv (http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/piaa/P1192_1100X_clr_drv.jsp) .jsp

I saw those same fog lights at my local stereo installer for $105. Tire Rack is a rip off. Did you check EBAY?</P>

</P>

The dealership is a rip off, too<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"></P>

I wasn't gonna purchase the PIAA fog lightsfrom tirerackbut rather to show a quick pic of it.Yeah, these are quite expensive for lights and Ialways check around for the best price.

The lights only from http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic.html (http://www.handa-accessories.com/civic.html target=)are only about $100.</P>

So if you can wire them in yourself or have an installer do it it should save some good $$$ and get the factory lights.</P>

Oh,</P>

I plan on doing it myself.</P>

I've installed other fog / driving lights so that's not a problem.</P>

Also, they install them so they aren't on unless the headlights are on, and they are off where the high beams are on.</P>

I want them on anytime I want them to be.</P>
