Transmission & Differential - auto tranny what to do????View Full Version : auto tranny what to do???? meangreen 01-10-2005, 06:47 PM i have a 99 civic ex with an automati transmission. i am looking for someone to recomend what to do. should i build the tranny and motor and boost my d-series, or should i just swap the motor for an integra ls motor and tranny? only problem is i want to keep my vtec!!! a little help please. fast97 01-10-2005, 08:42 PM get a motor trans wiring harnes and ecu from 00 civic si sacicons 01-10-2005, 10:59 PM yeah, you can get a dohc vtec mtor, then it comes with the tranny. adn as far as i know, there are no affordable options for building up a honda auto tranny. ive seen where a few people tried, but its really expensive, everything is custom.
