I can get suspension/ coilover from a 97 model of a friend's civic
What kind of work would need to be done for it to fit?
What extra parts do I need?

the easy answer is no. i believe your cars front uses torsion bars (no coil springs) and the rear has a twist beam axle but anything is possible if you fabricate.

to lower your car you might be able to get springs for the rear axle aftermarket for you car, or i know you can for a 84-87 crx (they might not be the same, but could work.

the front you can crank down your torsion bars to lower it a bit.

i beleive the sedan doesnt use torsions up front but i could be wrong. my buddies 83 civic hatch uses springs and struts up front. but the 97 suspension wont work.
