Get a haynes/chilton manual from your local parts store. You could also get a factory service manual from the dealer. There should be instructions on how to change the clutch in there.

is the clutch manuel or automatic? That makes a big difference on the easyness of the job

You definitely need a Chilton's Repair Manual. Don't do any work on your Civic w/o one. If you have the manual transmission, you will have to drop your tranny out. You do not need to pull your whole motor and tranny out; you can unbolt the tranny and do it that way. Swapping a clutch out is one of the easiest jobs there is. the only problem w/ it is yoiu have to take ur tranny out. Make sure you drain your tranny fluid. When you get to your clutch, make sure to have a hold on it as you undo your last bolt. It will fall right out. I would suggest putting an alignment tool in.

In my previous entry, I wrote a lot, however, didn't tell you a damn thing (so it seems). I will give you better info and pictures to go along w/ it. I will have that for you tomorrow.
