Detailed a friends mustang the other day. Tell me what you guys think of the before and afters. It took almost 8 hours.

Looks just like the day it rolled off the lot 2 years ago... I personally think that was a dark age for ford motors but you did a great job cleaning it nice.

Well on this one, the paint was just really dirty, and oxidized. If you look at the first two pictures you can see that the red had almost faded to pink. So I just took Meguiers #7 polish and went over it like two or three times until i stopped pulling dirt and oxidation out of the paint. Then went back and used two coats of Meguiers #26 wax. I have a high speed buffer, but did not need to use it on this since it was not a base coat clear coat.

Looks 1000% better. Even with the low quality pics, I can see a substantial difference in the front bumper, cab, and trunk. Those looked like the most troublesome spots. Good job!
