General Civic Talk - Graduation

ok, i just graduated May 19, and i have around 350-400 dollars of graduation money to spend on my car, and im really confused as to what i should do to it....... ARG!!! i need some ideas... I dont think there are alot of things i can do.... I need help :\</P>


Head Lights? Exhaust? Intake? LED's? Rearlights? Tires? lol, what would you do?</P>

Im on the fence... U need some looks and some go. My answer will always bee intake and exhaust. Unless u can find a nice set of wheels for cheap.

i'd tackle the suspension first. Some springs not only look cool but help handling.

hmm.... imma do some shopping around, suspension sounds good due to handling, and also i would like looks, and a intake sounds nice also.... arg!!! imma see what i can do. Oh yeah, small question... my friend thinks i should put some lights under my car... do you all think about underlights?

Some people love em, some people wont touch em with a ten foot pole. If you like em it cool (it's your car).

..i would spend the loot on other mods first.

what about you? would you touch them with a 10ft pole??

If i ever get into the show scene i might. Do you want to do more of a show car or a track type car?

wow thats a great question... like i dont realy fully know i guess... like even thought it will sound wierd, i want a semi showy car with a sort of track feel. like idk, i guess i dont wanna go overboard with both aspects.

ok my friend was showing me some cars around town... and i was just wondering whats bad about altezzas? just asking. like y dont you like them?

They are ricey now... I think because ricers always have them that it kinda killed the reputation of them. I see Altezzas--&gt; I see rice. And the neon only looks good if your car is hooked up already. It wont look good on a stock ride.

The thing with altezzas is(like almost anything else) they're cool if a handfull of people have em, but everyone has em now.....not just every other civic....now it's every compact car out there, trucks, suv's.....i'm waiting to see motorcycles with them.

oh gosh... that bad huh?? well that sux... oh yeah i had my 1st graduation purchase 2day.... i bought, some meguiars car was and some wax stuff, and i got some silver star bulbs, that i just put in. oh yeah ok say i was wanting to remove the orange part on my lights, how would i go about doing that? imma change my turn sinal bulbs, and then remove that orange stuff...

ps. altezzas arent bad (i had em on my car and still have em in storage)......i think you should ultimately do what you like since it's your ride..don't let other peeps tell you whats cool or not (if everyone did the same thing, we'd all be driving the cars that looked exactly alike). ;)
