Inside and Out - Tail lights removal?

well i just tried to get the tail lights off.. i havnt orderd the new ones yet but i wanted to see how much work it would be... so i got the 3 screws thru the trunk off just fine.. but its the ones on the botton im having trouble with.. the ones through the bottom of the car.. i laid on the ground and i tried a wrench but i cant quite do it cuz the angle is wierd plus i cant really see.. is there an easyer way of getting those last 2 lug nuts(is that it?) off?
btw i have an 04 civic sedan also this is under the Detailing forum too.

3/8 is to small and 7/16 is to big wtf.. am i doing it wrong

well im just using a regular ****in wrench.. part of the reason its so hard is cuz i think they were glued on! uhg.. 3/8 and 7/16 still dont work..but the 7/16 part i have is a dif shape than the 3/8 so that could be it.. so far iv got one screw half way off..uhg.. i want to get them off and then just screw em back on with my hands so later when i get new lights i can just use my fingers to twist it off.. uhg my hand,arm and back are on fire but i will get this done

im pretty sure i got every nut and bult undone but it still wont come off iv been jiggeling it and it feels like something under the car has it still conected you can see the screws in the pic there used to but nuts on em but it got them off.. really hard! the arows point to what i think is the problem.. the wont come up cuz i cant pull the light up cuz of the screws through the trunk..help!

ok no they arent lug nuts.. those hold ur wheels on.. they are just nuts on a bolt... try to use a 10 mm socket.. most of the sockets on cars/lights are 10mm

no they are already off.. those are just the screws pokin down.. i dont know what else to remove

the other side of the screws are in the trunk and are completely round.. not to mention sealed by paint

try to tap the screws?? i dont know.. i dont have that gen

im thinking i might have to take the bumper off... but theres got to be away without having to do that.. another forum told me it wasnt possible.. :( it has to be! theres got to be a way
