ok here is the deal i have an 86 integra and was wonderin what is the best tranny for it?????


im new to the tranny side of cars i just need to know what type to put in wit a 1st(g) zc motor and yes i want it to be lsd if possiable

b18c5 tranny with the lsd in it

you guys need to realize that his car uses a dohc d-series engine. therefore the type r lsd tranny will not bolt to his engine nor will it bolt into his car using factory mounts. and to the origional poster, your basically stuck having to use 86-87 teg trannies. someone may want to confirm though if your able to use 88-89 teg trannies as well.

yeah i didnt realize he had an older integra, i would try some searchs for an lsd for that trannsmission

phantom slip(phantom grip) is the only one that i know of that has an application for your vehicle. ive personally never used the pg as ive heard horror stories about them tearing up the side gears in the diff.
