ok im new, and i just wanted to know what the heck you can do with a 2000 civic dx...i don't like to spend that much cash...but i did get an aem intake...i don't have money right now to engine swap...so what can i do right now...meaning what can i get to boost the little hp that car has...its my gf's car anyway...good practice...
The intake will work well with an exhaust. Good plugs and wires will help a little, maybe some pulleys...

can you tell me how to install a tacometer??? i am going to get one, its going to be a 3 inch olimeter or something like that...it would help
Almost any cat back will cost a bunch a cash. If you want to keep the cost down, check out ractive & arospeed. The pulleys cost cash too but if your on a budget, that can wait. For plugs i'd go with iridium but there are a bunch of good ones out there.

I don't have experience with aftermarket tachs, but i would think instructions would come with it.

HKS and magnaflow have a some cat backs that aren't too exspensive. a high-flow cat might do some good as well. check out dragracing.com

An exhaust that you can get cheap, probably cheaper than most exhaust on the market is the TSUDO cat-back exhaust, you can find it between 200 and 300 no more, if you need help on getting a cheap price i have a buddy who has a shop who can do prices pretty much to whole sale. The cat is stainless steal and a nice good low sound nothing that sounds like a pissed off lawnmower.
