I have a 97 Civic EX Sedan. When I hit the brakes I am getting a shaking in the steering wheel. I'm sure it's warped front rotors.
I was checking AutoZone's website. They have ValueCraft rotors for $13.99 each, 1 year warranty. Anybody have any experience with these? Is that tool cheap? Should I go with the Duralast? Those are $21.99 each, 2 year warranty.

I am not a race driver but I do tend to drive aggressively at times.

I will also be replacing the brake pads. I have done lot's of Toyotas but this is my first Honda. I have the Haynes manual but is there anything special or different about Hondas. I have ABS.

Thanks,

Dave

I have duralast on my civic. The pads are pretty straight forward, make sure you greese the sliding surfaces of the pad. Make sure you get the little clips on correctly. You might need an impact screwdriver for the screws on the rotor. I would recommend you do not reinstall the screws.
