Default AWD CIVIC

Crazy question! WOuld it be possible to make a civic AWD? I know that with money anything is possible... but is it actually possible? What about taking the top off a WRX and putting a civic shell on it? Is this a dumb question? I would love to have my civic be awd... it'd be pretty funny. Would it be ridiculously expensive?

honda tuning (or was it import tuner?) did a 4wd integra with crv drivetrain...it started off awd, but they had to make it 4wd...it will be expensive though

yeah that is what i would suggest to do use the CRV drive train, i also have thought of this process, it would be expensive still

So what is AWD and 4WD? And "expensive" is how much? Like 10 grand? If I put a K20 in my 04 civic sedan could it power the crv drivetrain? What is a drivetrain? Is that a transmission?

You would be able to do that but youd be looking at at least 20 grand. I'd just sell the civic and buy a used evo or sti if you plan on doing that.

Find a wrecked CRV, pull the body off it, put a civic body on it, lower it, and bam you have a awd civic.

I dont understand what finalimpact said... FTW? what does that mean? This is something that would be very funny to see.. If I had a ridicuous amount of money I would do t to it just to say my civic is 4wd.... so what is the difference between AWD and 4WD? And this was more of a question of curiosity, i would probably never be able to justify that kind of money spent on that car.
