The Lounge - Horsepower TV

anyone watch it? its on spike on sunday mornings. for you who dont know, its a show where they get cars and show how to build them on a budget...along with covering drag competitions and sometimes testing new domestic cars. they deal with domestics (their last car was a 98 SS), but the reason i ask is because of their new project. they were talking about muscle cars, then segued into a brief history of racing. started at the salt flats after WWII, people started hopping up 50's cars, then 60 and 70 muscle cars...and then they went on to say 'well now theres the new generation, doing the exact same thing their fathers and grandfathers were doing...just the names have changed a bit' and then continued to show an import show. then they showed people working on civics and mitus, and drag runs of 9 second civic hatches and stuff like that. then they interviewed a guy who builds cars (his current is a Nissan Altima) and said 'we need to pick up a new project, and we want to do what kids are doing and build a small-engine import car'. dude says sure, takes 'em out to pick up a car.

so now Horsepower TV..domestic advocate #1...is building a EG low-model coupe. im pumped :D.

I usually watch it but have missed the last few. Thats awsome though, ill have to tune in.

Are you talking about the green civic? Cause those are really old episodes that i saw like 2 years ago.

ya about to say.... that green one with the NOS is quite old......

only one i dont care for is muscle car..... i swear those guys are lazy.LOL i see more repeats from them every week!

↑+1 I hate that show too the one that they keep showing is the one where they prep the camaro and " chalenge the twist in their chalenger" it's gottn old i do like extreme 4x4 and trucks the one with stacy on it although i did like the one this week end on trucks the one with the two guys i can't wait to see the mini truck finished

ya ive been into trucks for along time!

tho i think im gonna be sellen my truck and buying some air struts for the civic ;)
and paying off all my credit cards :D

i love the truck BUT i can get a regular cab truck for even cheaper and cut and chop at it all i want and dont look back ;)

and basicaly i already had my extended cab truck into a 2 seater.LOL so i might as well just get a reg cab truck and do a blow thru......
