Ok Now i Got a good named muffler shop to work me out a deal on the 2.25 pipe from the cat back to my muffler... at first he said it would be 150-200 but i told him he did one of my buddies cars and all that for like 100... he said his prices went up a lil cuz of how much everywhere else charges... So finally he said he would do me the deal for 125 which is alot less then everywhere else ive asked which all said about 200.... he said if i want he could do it for 150 and add a glass pack resonator???? how much better will the sound be tho??? i ask if u could tell me what i should do being short on the dough it will help... Thanx

 

around here they call it a cherry bomber and i have one. it doesnt pop like on trucks. mine hums it doesnt sound like a fart pipe at all on mine

 

So my options i guess are to go straight through cat to 2.25" pipe to muffler tip....anyone have experience?? or should i do the Glass pack resonator??...any experience?? here is a link to a glass pack i was lookin at... what yall think???? thanx

do not have straight back piping. get a resonator... unless you want loudness in the car and unecessary loudness outside the car.

 

IMO, the glasspack resonators depending on what brand tends to go out or makes that ticking sound sooner or later. They say its common, i think its just cheap. I got mine 5 days ago and now I hear the ticking sound at the resonator part when its hot and cooling off. IMO, get a better exhaust/resonator system. It will be worth it in the long run.

 

get the resonator!!! the noise will drive you crazy on long drives.... drives over 15 minutes even drive a person crazy!
