i have a non vtec engine. would it be better for me to get a vtec header, or an aftermarket one? im not lookin to do 1/4 miles or anything, but i would like it to be faster.

your talking about the advantages of a vtec exhaust manifold versus a stock 1.5 non vtec exhaust manifold?? there have been tests on the 99si with a b16 that installing a header on a stock motor has actually lost power versus the stock manifold. i'd say if u have one laying around slap it on. but it really depends on your intentions with the car. i would do something other than a header first like a good cat back exhaust. that will free up some ponies as well as a cai.
