I have been working on getting some k20's in from the 06 rsx type s. i want to guage the interest in the full swap (engine, tranny and ecu). the price is still in the works but it's somewhere around 6k as of now. they will be shipped to my shop in melbourne fl. i can also have them installed on-site for an additional fee of course:D. i will not be stocking too many of these due to my price being so high. when i get the one for my personal use i will take a couple pics and post them.

what the price? tell me what would be more reasonable so i can aim for that in my negotiations with my supplier.

really? i always thought it was much more...hmmm, oh well least i never bought one for so much, i saw someone selling just the motor for like 5000.

I can understand 6K for it installed and tuned... but not for just the engine.

well I can assemble a K24/K20 hybrid for half that price and then add bolt ons, cams, hondata, and tune and be up around 250whp for the price of what you are stating

The bad thing about the K's is that they are being blown way out of porportion price wise by the fan boys. I'd say if you could price it from $4500 to $5000 shipped people would jump all over it

Those would be the K20z1, would they not? A little less aftermarket for those.. if I'm not mistaken Hondata hasn't made k-pro for the 05-06 rsx's yet, but I may be outdated.

i'm already beating this guy down from 7500. he also came with the same arguement that people are selling the motor alone for 5k. my response was the swap is useless if it's not priced to sell.

so it looks like the general consensus is 5k shipped right? i'll see what i can do.

thats a damn good deal. if i had the money and wanted one i would be calling you asap but i have my d-series that will hold me over for now
