Anyone have installed direct port nitrous before? Wet and Dry shot of nitrous is well known, but it seems direct port isn't.. Anyone know the technical differences of those three? How do they affect performance, and can you get them street legal? Can you run stock internals with turbo and nitrous? Or would that blow something up?

Haha, I think you asked just about every nitrous question there is... all in about 2 lines.

Actually direct port nitrous injection is pretty well known. The direct port nitrous injection puts out the most horsepower out of the three
about 200+hp. Th The wet system is the second most powerful, producing about 75-100hp, and the dry system is the weakest producing only about 50-75hp. From what i know in Georgia, all three are llegal. Also unless your engine came equiped with a turbo, you wouldn't want to run a turbo with nitrous on say a civic or integra. Good performance parts such as forged pistons, piston rods,......... SHOULD BE PURCHASED BEFORE you try and put both in a car like that. And even with a car like a Supra, you wouldn't just want to throw a Direct Port kit on it and and let it ride. You might have some problems and you might not.
Anytime!

Nitrous purge is one of the sexiest things in the world... right up there with BOV dumping and the boost threshold. :D

just do wet. direct will be WAY more expensive, and isnt necessary for the power levels youll make without a full build.

can you run like the lowest shot into a 16valve motor like i am trying to do or will you damage the engine, because i dont want to hurt anything under the hood its my everyday driver. like the dry kit

you might get away with it for awhile, but it would be pummeling your motor. thats a bit too much.
Been runnin a wet 50 (on a y7) with not to many problems [&:]

I think your cash would be better spent on a good turbo kit.

dont they also make a dry kit that is like 35 i thoug i could be wrong though. do you still use liquid like in the bottle

hehe, yeah. the N2O is liquid while in storage, the wet term comes from a system that sprays nitrous with extra fuel too. a dry system lets the ecu compensate for the extra oxygen that the nitrous introduces. once you get a good kit, you can jet it to a bunch of different settings.
