The Lounge - over a damn hamburger

In my wonderful state of South Carolina, you will find, dangerous and fatal sports and events such as nascar, monster trucks, dirt bike jumping, sky diving, boxing, and kick boxing. There are more steak joints to even put a dent in texas' comparison. Sadly though, this state is being raided by liberals and you wouldnt believe the stupidest F'ing laws here now. I went to a steak joint last night to get a hamburger, my brother got a steak. Now we are southern boys and we like our meat (except chicken and pork of course) just past "mooing" any real man orders a steak between raw, and medium rare. But when it was my turn to order I wanted my burger, medium rare. The waitress told me IT IS AGAINST THE LAW! W.T.F. is wrong with this world? In this state consent of a teenage boy and girl can have sex at 16 years old, (thats right it is legal as long as it consentual)and a woman can get an abortion, and you can get into the military at the age of 17, but you cant order a goddamned hamburger medium rare!? Thats another thing. About drinking. Thats a bull $hit law too. If you can get drafted at the age of 18, meaning you will hold a gun in your hands and kill others while dying for your country, well guess what, you should be able to drink.

WTF!!!! you got to be kidding me but enough about that lol. i love eating hamburgers but they shouldnt make a law where you can have it cook your way theres no harm to you at all if its cook medium rare. illyont is right get the hell out of there and get yourself a good medium rare burger to make yourself happy you pay taxes.

well, technically, it is pretty dangerous to eat raw-semi raw hamburger, its not like a steak. but still, it should be left up to you if you want to risk food poisoning.

Mad Cow doesnt exist in the south. All of the meat in the south come from cows in the south, all of the cows are fed meal, not meal wih a side of mulched dead cow. Also, Ive been eating medium rare hamburgers all my life and never had food poisoning from it. Now, its only illegal to have a hamburger in an establishment... not your home. But in most private clubs here, they dont give a rats ass, if the member want a raw hamburger, that member will get one.

I think the death rate of military people ages 18-21 would drastically increase if they were allowed to drink (Not that they don't anyway).

I like my steaks well-****ing-done, dammit, and I'm not afraid to say it...:D

well done? now kappa don't u think that's alittle bit too chewy? i mean the first time i went overseas to China to get a hamburger they made the hamburger so f'cking well done that it was a damn piece of rubber u were chewin' into. That's some f'cked up stuff rite there. medium rare is actually my favorite degree of "cookedness". Yeah, whp. It's the amount of power your car is actually putting down to the pavement (whenever you dyno your car, the numbers you get are whp/wtq numbers). But as for meat, I like my STEAKS well done, not necessarily my burgers...:D

burgers medium well, steaks medium. some cuts should be medium rare though.
