I am really upset and pissed off cause i got a car that I owe 8,000 on and the motor went out on 33k miles, on the block in blue sharpie it say 98 on it I think it may have had a motor swap on it. cause in junk yard dont they right with a pen what year it is and miles sometimes, or did it come original from factory like that.

went out at 30k? What happened? Engine problems on a honda, especially at that mileage are unheard of. Also, the writings on the block could not have some from the factory. I would return to the original seller, since you've obviously got a lemon.

I dont know if it applies where you live but in my state there are lemon laws. Shinaniggans is a term for bull **** going around. Like there are shinaniggans that occur at county fairs.

as far as I know, every state has lemon laws. Go back to the place where you bought the car and tell them what happened- see what they say. On the other hand, I would consult a lawyer, you might have a case.

Should I put my car back to stock, I have coilovers, header intake, exhaust. But never once opened the valve cover, or does all that not matter, cause there was no warranty. Bu what would I get out of this, I still want the body and interior, I just dont want that crap motor, I am swaping a b16A1 or 2 JDM Whatever I decide to do I got the money I just dont know if I should file against them or not.

I believe lemon law only applies to new vehicles and it must be 7 things wrong with it. I think its 7. But if you bought it with no warranty it might not work. Hope you get something in return for your loss. Usually lawyers take a 1/3 of what you get to cover there costs. Might be different in your state.

pull a carfax report on it. if the mileage has been altered, you will have a case of false advertising. it sounds like it has a junkyard engine, and they may have also changed the mileage/gauges. also, if it still has the ecu, you can get the mileage out of theat too, though theres no telling if its the original ecu or not.

Well, I checked with dealership they said it all matched, they could not check the number on the head, but the tranny and block match. Later that day (yesterday) I guy my freinds know bought a wrecked integra 94 ls the guy who owned it blew the engine, his mom bought a jdm ls non vtec the b18B1 put that in there the kid hydroplained into a ditch, so my freind bought the car and pulled the engine and all, I bought the complete motor swap for $1200 that thing is clean, no oil leaks no nothin just dirt on the bottum from were he wrecked, we will have it running in my car in a couple days hopfully. I plan on getting a 4-2-1 header, intake manifold then get some nice crower cams and valve springs, O do you guys think I should hook up AC and power steering , or just power steering and no AC, and get one of those dash mounting fans from advanced auto parts, LOL.

Wow, talk about good luck. As for the A/C and PS, it all depends on where you live.
