Audio/Visual & Electronics - Need tweeter for Civic'07 Lx

Hey, somebody advice me, is it possible to add tweeter to the factory system? Where can i get Wire harness for those tweeters? What kind of tweeters are advisible. My cay came with two front speakers and two rear speakers from Boss works. I feel like i need more triple & chillness. Experts please advice.

On the 07 you can do two things , go to the dealer and buy the EX tweeter grills that go on top of your dash board and install the tweeters under them ( this way they will look stock )

or you can buy add on tweeter and flush them in the door Polk , Pioneer , jl audio , make really good ones not expensive there online everywhere -

your stock radio is rated at 35w RMS , it can handle tweeter

let me know if you need specific places to buy them if you cant buy them online

Thanks for your great reply. This is sounds great to me, i will approach my dealer for this. Ok,in case i want go for ourside market tweeters like pioneer or JBL or something, where can i get wire harness for this? Thanks.

you wouldn't need a wiring harness the tweeter has wires coming out of it , and depending on which company you go with , sometimes they put 10 feet extensions on them just solder them on to your radio wires , or on your front door speaker , soldering them on there wont void your warranty , cutting them and adding crimp caps , might just depends

The only problem you will face trying to put tweeters in those locations.....is space, which there is VERY little of. I have an 06 and I am fluch mounting mine instead of trying to keep them UNDER the grill.

there are allot of manufacturers that you can tweeters from it just depends on how much your willing to spend and what type of quality your going to get , jl makes real good ones , pioneer has a good frequency response , if you look up in
