The s-techs are nice for daily driving because they are so soft. If you do autox or any type of racing get the tokicos.

Tokicos are fine for daily driving, the ride is just harsher than the s-techs. You dont have to change out the struts as long as they are in good shape.

if the pothole is big enough, it'll blow up just about any strut.

that's how physics work.

how bad are the potholes in new york? swimming pool sized? lol.

i dunno, really.

constant banging from potholes will cause aftermarkets to eventually blow up too.

you may have to end up buying new struts every few years if the potholes are that bad.

i'm gonna have to recommend springs with better dampening properties.

are your oem struts bad?

just bounce the front end of your car real fast up and down and then stop all of a sudden. bad struts will keep on bouncing. good struts will come to a controlled stop as soon as you stop bouncing the car.

test the rear of your car the same way.

if you have bad struts then replace them with adjustable ones or adjustable coilovers.
