oxygen sensor

Default oxygen sensor

hey guys, where is the oxygen sensor located on a 1994 honda civic cx hatchback, 1.5L stock engine?

right on the cast iron header that comes out of the engine, its a 1 wire unit right by the dipstick

does this one wire unit connect to the front grill area? I see a wirre from the header area to the grill,

heres a picture,the piece screwed into the part is your oxygen sensor

it should go around to the trannsmission side and is about 12 inches long and gos into a connector/plug next to the distributor

o thanks riceburner, that picture is very helpful, i just wanted to know where it is so if the problem ever occurs i know where to swap it out, thanks man![8D] I think the other wire is just a grounding wire.

the one coming off the valve cover by the timing belt to the front of the car by the headlight is the grounding wire

i have a 95 honda civic hb with a b16a1 motor. i need to hook up the o2sensor, since it has not been since i got the car. i have the o2sensor in the bung in the exhaust, just not hooked up. does anyone know where the location of the clip is? also, just to make sure i have the right o2, its 3-wire right/ not 1-wire? thanks

u have a 4 wire i believe, and was the motor swapped in? cause if it was, youll probably have to wire it in.

sorry about that, yea, four wire is what i meant, i have the four wire in the bung. and yes, the motor was swapped in right before i got it. but what do you mean, "wired in" ? do you mean that there isnt a clip or anything on the engine, and that i am going to have to wire straight into the ecu? thanks man
