I want to buy everything needed for a mini me swap. The d16z6. I have a stock d16y7 and I just want to make some more power. If anyone has one or knows where to get one please let me know. Thankx alot.

Well at my local junkyard I hid a D16Y8 sohc vtech head with valve cover, Rotor, cap, distributor, and fuelrail with injectors,however before i got there tho someone had already taken the intake, and i think the vtech solinoid so im not sure......its still in there and I am not sure if im gonna get it or not since I dont have a honda to put it in

Anyways have you tried ebay just peicing the parts together since i think that may be the cheaper route to take

its pretty much taking a vtech head and putting it on a stock non vtech motor mostly a D16...with a few extra goodies............i think im right at least

Yah I have checked out ebay but I'm not sure about everything I need. So if anyone knows everything that is needed for the entire swap please fill me in.

So you're looking for the z6 head? If you were going to use a y8 head I would give you a sweet deal on the ECU

Look in the DIY section. Final IMpact did a step by step write-up on how to do it and everything you need.

If the ecu from the y8 would still work for what I need I would glady take it off your hands.

no either of those are fine, i think its with the "h" at the end that they have blocked out, bc that is a sin to spell it that way. Only those that don't own a vtec would do that haha
