Audio/Visual Electronics - 12CM front speakers??New to me!!!

Hi im new to all this honda stuff, but im loving it, i used to be into peugeots i had 4 but i saw the light!!
Anyway, ive never had a big problem fitting front speakers, cause i buy 13cm and they go in fine, ive jsut bought some 13cm to find my civic takes 12cm, ive tried to modify (chop the plastic holder to fit) but im not getting much luck.

Does anyone know how i can get them to fit, are 12cm rare?? or does anyone want to swap any Sony Xplodes???

well the first thing you should of done was look and find out the specs. of your car which you would of known that they are 6" speakers, now to make them fit, your will have to cut the circle into a square, and use the bracket mounts to sequre them in. Now im not there with you so i am not sure what ur situation is exactly but next time make sure to check before you buy and try.
